Springfield/Monson-Howard J. Dart, 55, of Reynolds Ave, died Tuesday March 10, 2009 at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer. Born in Springfield to the late Edison and Grace Dart , he grew up in Springfield and lived in Monson for a period of time before moving to Maine and returning to Monson a short time ago. Howard was self-employed, operating Dart Home Improvements. He attended St. Patrickâs Church in Monson. Howard leaves his children Daniel Dart of Agawam, Heather Hayes of Agawam, Jason E. Dart of Iowa, Victoria Dart of Monson,Buddy Dart of Maine, Howard Dart Jr. of New Jersey and Kyle Clark of New Jersey; his siblings Michael Dart of Michigan, Edward Dart of Brimfield, Grace Babiec of Springfield, Anthony Dart of Monson, William Dart of Monson, Lisa Persson of Monson, and Thomas Dart of Chicopee; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Daniel E. Dart. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 14, 2009, 9am, beginning at Lombard Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrickâs Church both in Monson and burial at St. Michaelâs Cemetery in Springfield.
