Biography
Wales-Gerard N. Faucher, 69, died Saturday August 31, 2013 at home surrounded by the love of family. Born in Boston, July 11, 1944, to the late Joseph and Yvonne(Turcotte) Faucher he was a longtime resident of Wales. Gerry served in the US Air Force from 1963-1969. He worked for T&M Construction in Springfield as a civil engineer and supervisor for more than 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing "Bingo". Gerry had a deep work ethic and loved to fix and repair anything and everything. If he was unable to perfectly repair an item he made sure you at least received a "Gerry Special".
Gerard leaves his wife of 49 years Darleen V. (Sheeran) Faucher and their daughter, Tiffany M. Faucher of Webster; two sisters Annette Hagopian of MA and Pauline Cummings and husband Frederick of Florida; two grandsons Kyle Labelle and Damion Edwards; nieces and nephews, William Cummings and wife Aleksandra, Aram Hagopian and wife Jennifer and son Aram Jr., Jacob Hagopian and wife Elizabeth and daughter Millie Marie; brother in-law Donald Sheeran and wife Beatrice of Florida and their children, Debbie Sheeran, Jeanie Allen and husband Bill, Donald Sheeran and wife Donna; life long friends Debbie and Tom Dvorchak and many cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 1pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson, burial will follow at Wales #4 Cemetery on Laurel Hill Road in Wales. Visiting hours will be Friday, September 6, 2013 from 5-8 at the funeral home.
