George J Lafromboise

Monson- George J. LaFromboise, 86, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 surrounded by the love of family at the home of his daughter in Agawam. George was born in Ludlow , November 7, 1931 to the late Ozea and Dora (Recor) LaFromboise. He served in the Army and was stationed in Korea for 18 months during the Korean war. He retired from Brockway & Smith in Hatfield where he was a forklift operator for many years. George enjoyed camping and traveling especially to Maine. He also built model antique cars and loved country music.
George was predeceased by his wife Lee (Fountain) LaFromboise. He leaves their children, Georgia Uneegar and her husband John of Agawam, Gaylyn Gallup and her husband Raymond of Stafford Springs, CT and David LaFromboise and his wife Sue of Monson; sisters Mildred Fountain of Agawam and Gloria Shover of Ludlow; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. George was predeceased by a granddaughter Lisa Uneegar and a sister Dorothy Johnson.
