Biography

Gabrielle M. (Dery) Cardin, 87, died Friday, January 21, 2011 surrounded by the love of family. Born February 25, 1923 in Latuque, Quebec, Canada to the late Joseph Antonio and Anna (LaFrance) Dery, she has been a resident of Monson for many years. Gale worked at Worthington Pump in Holyoke and was a housekeeper for St. Patrick's Church Rectory for several years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She enjoyed twig painting, quilting and crafts.

Gabrielle leaves her loving husband of 57 years Roland W. Cardin; her loving children, Jeffery Cardin and his wife Dr. Mojca Lorbar of Glastonbury, Ct, Nancy Beauregard and her late husband Roger of Monson; a sister Lucille Campbell of Granby; five grandchildren Brittney Beauregard, Bryan Beauregard, Michelle Cardin, Michael Cardin, Ian Cardin and many favorite nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Charlotte LaCoste and Gilberte George; her brothers, Maurice Dery, Joseph Dery and William Dery.
