Francis Leveille

Brimfield- Francis G. Leveille, 91, of Meadowbrook Acres, died Thursday July 16, 2009. He was born in the Bondsville section of Palmer, October 11, 1918 to the late Frank and Cecile (Thayer) Leveille, he has been a longtime area resident residing in Monson for many years. Francis retired from CF Church Co.as a fire engineer and during the early 1960's he drove school buses for the Town of Monson. After retirement he enjoyed spending the winters in Florida and the summer months in Deer Isle, Maine, before moving to Brimfield. Francis enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors.

Francis was predeceased by his wife Frances (Allen) Leveille in 1961 and his wife Carolyn (Huntsman) Leveille in 2005. He leaves a daughter Leora Meurisse and her husband James of Monson; a brother Olin Leveille of Somers, CT; a sister Agnes Meyer and her husband William of Somers, CT; ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by a daughter Judith Wheeler; brothers Thomas and John Leveille and a sister Dorothy Hoisington.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday July 22, from 9-11am with a Memorial service at 11am in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St.with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery both in Monson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brimfield Senior Center PO Box 172 Brimfield, MA 01010.
