Eugene "Joseph" Quaglini, Jr

Monson- Eugene "Joseph"  Quaglini, 80, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 surrounded by love of family at home.  Joe was born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Pearl W. (Walz) Gauthier.  He was a graduate of Monson High School Class of 1961.  Joe was a machinist by trade and worked at F&D Tool in Three Rivers, Crane Company in Indian orchard and retired from Jarvis in Palmer. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Palmer. Joe could fix just about anything.  If a tool needed to be made to fix something, he could do that too.  He enjoyed carpentry, restoring cars, cement work and remodeling his beloved home. When he wasn't working on fixing something, he enjoyed watching Western and War movies.

Joe leaves his wife of over 60 years, Nancy J. (Taylor) Quaglini and their daughters, Lisa Lupien and her husband Don who lived with him and helped take care of him and Tammy Cole of Ware; four grandchildren, Tanya Alicea (Joel), Amanda Brooke (Foster), Thomas Cole and Michael Cole; nine great grandchildren; close family friends, Bernice Burgess Begley and Melissa Burke and his beloved dog, Yogi.  Joe was predeceased by his brother Leo Melton and sisters, Lou Taylor, MariAn Van Der Snick and Mary Ellen Bosch.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation Tanya Alicea for her help over the years and to Overlook Hospice and the entire care team for the care and compassion they showed to Joe and the family,

Services will be held July 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, Palmer.
