Esther M. Lewis
1920-2008
Monson-Esther M. Lewis, 87, of Bethany Road, died Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow. Born in Palmer to the late Charles A. and Myrtle (Cady) Lewis she has been a life long resident of Monson. Esther received her nurses training at the House of Providence Hospital and worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Megas Sr. in Springfield for 42 years. She was a member of the Monson United Methodist Church. Esther leaves her cousins; Ron Midura of Palmer, Shirley Midura of W. Springfield, Steven Midura of Las Vegas, Melissa Midura of Monson and Trevor Midura of Monson and a friend, whom she thought of as a sister, Dee Bigos of W. Springfield. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning at 10am in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St with burial at Hillside Cemetery both in Monson.
