Biography

Eleanor K. (Shannon) Lynch, 91, of 23 Harrison Ave, passed away Wednesday, April 13, at Quaboag on the Common, West Brookfield, MA. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Shannon. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 55 years, Matthew Lynch and her sister Bernice St. Amand. She was a devoted mother to her daughters Christine Leach and her husband William and Colleen Wolf and her husband Gary all of Monson. She was a loving grandmother to Marlo Connor, Samantha Kober, Meghan Wolf, Matthew Wolf, Elizabeth Marino, Michael Wolf, Abigail Wolf, Tyrone Wolf, Delianah Wolf and Damien Wolf. She was the great grandmother of ten.

Eleanor was educated in Palmer Schools and Becker Jr. College. She worked as a secretary at Colorado Fuel and Iron and retired from Monson Developmental Center. She was a devout Catholic and communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella, American Legion Auxiliary, Monson Housing Authority, Monson Senior Center, Monson Democratic Town Committee and Monson Historical Society.

Ellie was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Quaboag on the Common for the care they gave their mother.
