Springfield-Edna V. Monteiro, 86, died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Palmer Healthcare Center. Born in Hebron, CT, she was a longtime resident of Springfield. She worked at the Stork diaper service in Springfield for many years. Edna enjoyed gardening and knitting. She was predeceased by her husband in 1993, she leaves a son Glenn D. Monteiro and his wife Darlene of Monson; a grandson Tyler and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. All services are private and entrusted with Lombard Funeral Home of Monson.
