Palmer- Earl Douglas Noble, 68, of the Three Rivers section of Palmer, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday March 11, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 19, 1945, to the late Elwood and Phyllis (Bradway) Noble, he was a graduate of Monson High School. During high school Earl played soccer, basketball and baseball. Earl joined the Palmer Police Department as a patrolman in 1977 and retired after 25 years in 2002. Following his retirement he worked for area construction companies including, M&M Paving, L&D Construction Co. and APMI. He was an avid deep sea fisherman, loved to read western novels and could often be found looking for wildlife at the Quabbin Reservoir.
Earl will be dearly missed by his wife Natalie, of 46 years; daughters Tracy LoChiatto and her husband Bernard of Feeding Hills and Robyn D'Addario and her husband Chris of Billerica; grandsons Joey LoChiatto, Zachary and Nathan D'Addario who were the apples of his eye. They lovingly referred to him as both "Pa and Grampa". Also special in his life were Tommaso, Vinnie and Frank DeCaro. Earl spent many years as the #1 fan at the boy's sporting events throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. Earl also leaves two sisters Joyce Ratcliffe and her husband John of Florida and Cherie Reasner and her husband Dave of Indianapolis; a brother Bruce Noble and his wife Cathy of Maryland; sister in-law Carolyn Noble of Monson and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a brother Richard Noble and a nephew Nicholas Xiarhos.
