Donnie Putnam

Donnie S. Putnam, 36, became a star among the heavens with his spirit flying free, October 8, 2009. Born in Springfield, December 4, 1972 to Nancy (Krupke) Klisiewicz and Kurt A. Putnam he was a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School. He served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged. Donnie obtained higher education and was a computer tech. He had a passion for music, animals, nature and people. He was a self taught guitar player and played for many years. He leaves his mother Nancy Klisiewicz and step-father Stanley of Monson, his father Kurt Putnam and step-mother Valerie of Hamilton, Montana; brother Daniel Putnam and his companion Diane Noret of Ware, sisters Sara Klisiewicz and fiance Christopher Slozak of Monson and Jessica Klisiewicz of Monson; paternal grandfather Edwin Putnam of Wilbraham and maternal grandmother Claire Krupke of Springfield and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother Evelyn Putnam and grandfather Herman Krupke.

Funeral services will be held Thursday October, 15, 2009 at 10am in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery both in Monson. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
