Dolores E (Kivior) Skomro

Dolores E. (Kivior) Skomro, 90, passed away  Thursday, September 8, 2022 surrounded by love of family.  Dolores was born May 29, 1932 in Palmer, to the late Michael and Sophie (Romaniak) Kivior.  She was a graduate of Ludlow High School and has lived in Monson for many years.  Dolores enjoyed crafting,  antiques, quilting, braiding rugs and chair caning.  She could be found at the Christmas Studio in Monson during the holiday season crafting special ornaments. Dee and her husband spent over 20 years doing craft shows with their handmade wood items. During the summer months Dolores enjoyed tending to her gardens.  Dolores especially loved taking care of her family.

Dolores leaves her loving husband of 69 years, Frank Skomro and their children, Cheri Denner and her husband Thomas of Monson and Debbie Kindberg of Wales; three grandchildren, Mike and Chrissy Denner, Jeremy Kindberg and a great granddaughter Kaydence Kindberg along with many nieces and nephews.  Dolores was predeceased by a granddaughter Melissa Kindberg as well as two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Lombard Funeral Home in Monson.  A visiting hour will be held from 11am until 12noon.  A funeral home service will be conducted at 12 noon with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson,  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Monson Senior Center 106 Main St. Monson, MA 01057.  Please visit www.lombardfuneralhome.com to leave on-line condolences.
