Diana M. (Webber) Burnett

March 12, 1944 — September 27, 2019

Monson-Diana M. (Webber) Burnett, 75, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019. She was born March 12, 1944 in Palmer to the late Donald P. Webber and Dorothy F. (Webster) Bryant.  Diana was a longtime resident of Monson, and was a school bus driver at Pathfinder school district, in Palmer, for 15 years. She also drove for Monson and Stafford schools. Diana was an active member of the American Legion Woman's Auxiliary post 241 and she was an avid Boston Redsox, Nascar, and New England Patriots fan. She had a love of hats, and wore one for every occasion. Her most memorable hats being worn at Halloween and Thanksgiving. Diana also loved the beach and gardening.

Diana was predeceased by loving husband of 56 years, Edward Leonard Burnett in July 2019; her son Edward L. Burnett III in 1975; and her brother Daniel. Diana leaves her daughter Lisa A. Burke and Thomas Tassinari of Monson; her son Daniel G. Burnett; her brothers Donald P. Webber II of Springfield, and David Webber of Westfield; her sisters, Deborah Chaffee, and Dorothy Fillmore both of Monson; her grandchildren, Stephen A. Burke and his wife and Tabitha (Guertin) Burke, Melissa A. Burke, and Ashley R. Hoher and her fiance`, Adam Cole; two great-grandchildren, Kendra L. Burke and Matthew R. Kenyon.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5-7pm, with a remembrance service held at 7pm to conclude the evening, at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St in Monson.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations maybe made to American SIDS Institute 528 Raven Way Naples, FL 34110.
