Biography
Warren- Deborah A. (Whelihan) Kershaw, 58, died Friday, February 17, 2012, surrounded by her family. Born in Holyoke to the late George and Shirley (Bailey) Whelihan, she has been a life long area resident and most recently making her home in Warren. Debbie was a nurses aid for area nursing homes and she also worked for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation. She enjoyed reading and most of all taking care of her family.
Debbie leaves her loving husband, Brian J. Kershaw; her daughter, Kimberly Paul and husband Jeffrey of Chicopee; her grandson Mark Paul; two sisters, Darlene Moriarty and husband Richard Norbult of Westfield and Dianne English of Westfield; her niece and goddaughter Kelly Thimmesh, niece, Kristen Brock and nephew, Carl Girouard; as well as many extended family members and friends. Debbie was pre-deceased by her son, Craig Fish in 2011.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. A visiting hour will be held from 9-10am with a service of remembrance at 10am in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Baystate VNA and Hospice 50 Maple Street Springfield, MA.
