Monson- Deborah L (Nimmo) Arooth, 68, died suddenly, March 13, 2019. Deborah was born in Stafford Springs, CT, April 20, 1950 to the late David T. and Blanche A. (Sulham) Nimmo Sr. She has been a resident of Monson for many years. Deborah retired from the former Springfield Molders/Thermotech in Monson in 2000. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren and being with her family and friends.
Deborah leaves her loving husband of more than 50 years, John M. Arooth, Sr; a son, John M. Arooth Jr. and his wife Erica of Westfield; a daughter, Jill M. Arooth of Monson; grandchildren, Lisa Cavanaugh, Dylan Arooth and Caitlyn Arooth; a sister Lonna Davis of Vermont; brother in-law, James Arooth, Sr; nieces and nephews, Lisa Davis, Denise Gilman, Dena Plante, Kelly Davis, James Arooth, Jr., Amy Davis, Francine Cavanaugh. She was predeceased by a her bother, David T. Nimmo, Jr. and a nephew, David Davis.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 6-9pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson, MA. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 beginning at 10 am in the funeral home with Liturgy of Christian burial at 11am in St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson.
