David J Knight

On October 13,2022 David John Knight peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by family.

David (aka Dad, pepe, Darby and the jokester) taught us life lessons that really matter. Be kind to everyone, let unpleasantries roll off your shoulder, work hard, do your best, always share a smile and a good joke with everyone. He touched many lives while making the world a better place. He will be missed, but his awesome spirit will continue to inspire us all.

David was born in Brimfield Massachusetts on February 17, 1935. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan and two sons, David, Jr and Peter John. He leaves the best memories and jokes with his daughters Shirley Gagne and husband Ken, Heidi Hamer and husband Lee, Sharon Smith and husband Jim, Heather Barrington and husband Shane. Grandchildren Beth, Robert, Katie, Jordan, Elijah, Jonah, Julie, Jesse, David,Russell, Brittany. Great grandchildren Lailee, Nessa, Teagan, Bridgette, Jacob, Petra, Anastaysia, Elsa, Leo, Jessy, Terra, Vincent, Harley, Caleb, Harvey, Alexandria, Mei-Leigh Ann, Michael, Dylan, Phoebe, Anthony.

Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all.

A celebration of his life will be made at a later date, to be announced by his family.
