Cynthia L Martin

December 1, 1956 — December 13, 2019

BRIMFIELD- Cynthia (Cindy) Lee Martin (Née Gadaire) – 1956-2019. In the early morning of December 13th, 2019, Cynthia passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home in Brimfield, Massachusetts. It was unexpected and unfair to lose this beacon of light and positivity. Cindy was born in Leicester to Bruce and Sally Gadaire and raised in Brookfield. After graduating from Tantasqua Regional High School, class of 1974, Cindy went on to get a degree as a dental hygienist. She married James T. Martin in 1978 and moved from Worcester to Brimfield 1985. While raising her boys Jimmy and Sean, Cindy worked at the Brimfield Public Library where she was not only a lender of books, but also a lender of smiles and laughter. Impossible to be done justice in one obituary, it can only be said that Cindy was the best of the best. A kind, generous person, a friend to anyone she ever met, a vibrant and loving mother, daughter, sister and wife.

Cindy leaves behind her son James J. Martin and daughter-in-law Lauren Martin; Son Sean M. Martin; husband and partner, James T. Martin; father Bruce Gadaire; brothers Jeffrey Gadaire and Derek Gadaire. She was preceded in death by her mother Sally Gadaire and her brother Ron Gadaire. She will be missed, but the joy she brought to the world will never be forgotten.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 1-4PM at Lombard Funeral Home, 3 Bridge St. Monson, MA 01057 with a celebration of life to conclude the afternoon.
