Charles W Slingerland

Wilbraham/Monson-Charles Wayne Slingerland born April 30th 1940 in Port Huron Michigan passed away on August 21st 2018 in Springfield at the age of 78. Charles lived in Wilbraham at the time of his passing. Charles graduated from Port Huron High School in 1958, enlisted in the Airforce, eventually transferring to Westover Airforce Base in 1959.  This is where Charles met Alice J Lovelace.  Charles and Alice were married for 48 years.

Charles had 3 loves in his life, his wife Alice, his 3 children and his lawn. Charles and Alice raised their children in Monson MA residing on Stagecoach lake for many years. Charles careers where all sales focused. Starting with Sears and Roebuck Company, later in life Charles became a well know CNC machine tool salesman, A.K.A. MR CNC was his vanity plate for several decades.

Charles has joined with his wife Alice and daughter Kimberly in heaven. He leaves behind his son Charles and wife Darcy, daughter Kelly, grandchildren, Arion Michael, Ryan, Amber, Kimberly, Madison, Brandon and Nicholas, Jenifer and Erica. Great Grandchildren, Arion, Bryce and Kylee.

There will be a private service on Monday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
