Monson-Charles S. Puliafico, 78, passed away December 31, 2020, from injuries of a motor vehicle accident in Florida. Charlie was born December 26, 1942 in Ware, Ma to the late Salvatore and Dorothy (Weighill) Puliafico. He was a graduate of Barre High School and a self-employed hydraulic machine technician. He was a resident of Monson for many years before moving to Palmer just a few months ago. Charlie was a communicant of St. Patrick's church in Monson.
In his early life, Charlie enjoyed hot air ballooning and camping. He loved traveling and shopping with his late wife Judie, as well as spending time with their grandchildren. Charlie was an avid woodworker and crafted many birdhouses. He was a huge NASCAR fan and could be found at the racetrack most Friday nights.
Charlie was predeceased by his wife Judith L. Puliafico in 2019 for whom he lovingly cared for while she was ill. He leaves his sons, Robert Puliafico and his wife Debra of Palmer, David Puliafico and his partner Jennifer Isley of Orange Park, FL; a daughter, Charlene Peterson and her husband James of Monson; grandchildren, Rosalee Scannell and her husband Spencer, James Peterson, David Puliafico Jr., and Leela Puliafico; brothers, Robert Puliafico of Rutland, Paul Puliafico and his wife Melissa of Brookfield; a sister, Cynthia Clarkson and her husband Mark of South Barre; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sophia. Charlie was predeceased by his sister Laurie Puliafico.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home of Monson. Services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Charles's name to Monson Fire and Ambulance Service PO Box 335 Monson, MA 01057.
