Feeding Hills- Charles T. Marquis, 88, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Greenier) Marquis, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born July 23, 1933 in Jamaica Plains to the late Raymond and Helen (Lucke) Marquis. He was a Korean War Veteran and proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1951-1954. For many years he owned CNA Insurance Company in West Springfield. He loved Cape Cod and for over 30 years he and Dorothy had a home in Orleans. He enjoyed the ocean and traveling extensively. He was an avid reader and movie buff. His greatest joy was his love of family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Dorothy in 2018. He leaves his children, Deborah Nolin and her husband Jeffrey, Charles R. Marquis, Christopher Marquis and his wife Sonia, Dana Pepper and her husband Felix; grandchildren, Diana, Jeffrey, Christopher, Marissa, Kayla, Jenna, Michael and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Ethan, Tristan, Mathew, Kourtney, Michael, Asher and Arabella. Charles also leaves two sisters and a brother.
A Funeral Mass in his remembrance will be held Tuesday March 8th at 11:00 AM St Michael’s Church 128 Maple St East Longmeadow Ma. 01028
