Charles R Hill

Stafford Springs, CT- Charles R. Hill, 85, passed away at home surrounded by the love of family, on September 12, 2019. Charles was born in Springfield, MA, January 31, 1934 to the late Clyde and Katherine M. (Williams) Hill Jr.  Charles was a machinist at Diamond Match Co. for over 30 years.  He was an avid race fan and loved going to the races at the Stafford Speedway. His favorite cars were the midget and sprint cars.

Charles leaves his wife, Sheilah M. (O'Brien) Hill; their son Brian Hill and his wife Korin of East Longmeadow; his brother Tyler D. Hill and his wife Kathleen of Spring Hill, FL; a grandson, Gavin Hill and 5 nephews.
