Carole Bressette

Carole A. (Graveline) Bressette, 67, was called home, surround by the love of her family, Monday, December 13, 2010. Born in Palmer, MA, January 4, 1943, Carole has been a life-long resident of Monson. She was a graduate of Monson High School and continued her education in early childhood development. Carole opened her home in Monson and provided child care for many families in Monson and surrounding areas. She operated Mrs. B's Daycare for over 40 years, providing a safe and nurturing environment for hundreds of children. The hearts she has touched span generations. Carole was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was the founder of Monson Girl Scouts and was active for 47 years with the organization. She established the Palmer/Monson Daycare Support Group, was on the original committee of Monson Summerfest and was an original organizer of the Monson Arts Council craft fair known as "Big MAC". Carole also supported many local organizations including the Friends of the Monson Free Library, Open Pantry, and Meals on Wheels.
Carole leaves her loving husband of 43 years Russell A. Bressette, Jr. and their children, Andrew Bressette and his wife Jennifer of Rome, Georgia, Maria Fontaine and her husband Scott of Palmer, Michelle Winer and her husband Marc of Agawam; eight grandchildren; Elizabeth, Andrew Jr., Lili, Jacob, Logan, Bretonya, Mara and Michael. Carole also leaves her brothers Robert, Richard and Carl and her Mother Marie Graveline as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was pre-deceased by her Father Alfred Graveline.
