Aline Plourde

Monson-Aline G. (Poulin) Plourde, 87, of Colonial Village, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 surrounded by her family at her daughters home. Born in Canada to the late Francis and Armoza (Veilleux) Poulin, Aline was the youngest of eleven children. She made her home at Lake Sherman in Brimfield for many years before moving to Monson in 1980. Aline retired from Sanderson Macleod in Palmer. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Monson and was active with the Monson Senor Center. She was also a volunteer for the Red Cross. Aline was predeceased by her husband Arthur A. Plourde in 1975. She leaves her children Robert D. Plourde and his wife Kathie of Belchertown and Annette B. Plourde of Monson; four grandchildren, David Plourde, Daniel Plourde and his wife Adriana, Amber Barry and Lindsey Barry; three great grandchildren Cameron and Marisa Plourde and Ashley Bauer and special friends Karen Lynch, Buzz Tower, Mark Baldwin and Wendy Sivula.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday December 19, 2008 at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, Green St. Monson. Burial will be held in the Spring in Brimfield Cemetery. Lombard Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monson Senior Center Main St. Monson, MA 01057.
